The GK FOLKS Foundation Brings MISS AFRICA IDAHO TO BOISE
A Cultural Scholarship Program

Today September 11, 2019 – The Miss Africa Idaho (MAI) cultural scholarship program is one of the various ways Africa students 1st to 3rd generation can apply and compete for scholarships from the African Scholarship Fund. MAI cultural scholarship has a mission to promote diverse culture, and to educate people about their rich heritage, facilitate real economic growth opportunities, and empower youth through education. They provide scholarships and mentoring
opportunities for refugee students in the United States to help them succeed in school. There will be vendors selling various cultural items and snacks. Tickets are only $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Student tickets are $15 and $20 at the door, and helps support a great cause! We invite you to If in Boise to attend,

& entrepreneurial resource opportunities to refugee students. GKF started the Idaho African Scholarship Fund
initiative to help refugee students pursue their educational goals with a promise to give back to their respective
countries in the near future. As an organization we believe having quality education, entrepreneurship skills and
financial resources such as “Start-up Capital” is the key to solving economic and poverty issues.
