There is a difference between a community falling out and two people deciding a textless joke was about them. That distinction is what the timeline actually settled on October 5.
The October 3 write-up, “The Blue Contradiction,” laid out Hakeem Prime’s account of the 2025 split: a position toward him that he says was inherited, not researched, and a record, “Scared To Tango,” built to attack the habit of repeating a story without checking the catalog. What that piece could not yet cover is what happened after the song left the group chat and hit the open timeline. By the end of October 5, the argument was no longer about whether Prime needed a community. It was about who moved first, who chopped the tape, and who was still standing when the clips started circulating outside the Night Owls.
This refresher is still his account of the rooms, the Spaces, and the motives. The posts, the caption, and the order of events are on the timeline.
The post that started it was not a diss
Meanwhile…… https://t.co/IHFN0XAVEh

Prime’s position, stated under a Night Owl-adjacent reply and then again under Jay Roebuck, is narrow on purpose. He does not have an issue with the rest of the group. He does not fuck with Kitty. He does not fuck with Blue. And the diss does not exist if those two never come up under his post.
The post in question was a textless photo: four people spraying Mase at three Night Owl members, circle bubbles of the faces involved, captioned with one word. “Meanwhile.” In his telling, the joke was the picture. It was the week’s timeline, Dirt Dom and Marz included, drawn as a feed. He did not name anybody in the caption. He did not punch down on an individual. Blue read the Mase as bug spray and took the image as a shot. Kitty was in the replies with him. That reply, not the photo, is what Prime calls the first issue with the two OVO make-believers.
His answer to the lecture that followed is the same sentence he gave the timeline: if the post was not a diss, why was the burden on him to DM Blue for clarification, when Blue did not extend that courtesy under the post itself? Bovi later circulated a version of that same instruction inside the group — if you thought Blue made a diss, why didn’t you message him? Prime’s counter is that the instruction only runs one way.
They jumped the gun a second time, in a room that was not about them
The second jump came in The Shiesty Truth space, “Reggie Vs Kai | ICEMAN (FOMO).” Prime says he was in that room to announce a finding, not a grievance: the AI track people had been treating as Blue and Kitty’s diss was not theirs, and it did not diss him. Blue and Kitty heard the title “Scared To Tango,” assumed the record was about him discovering that they had made the AI song, and took pieces of the space back to Night Owls supporters as an exposure.
What got left on the cutting-room floor, in his account, was the clarification. The chopped version traveled. The full version did not. That is the move he is calling a fool’s errand. They built a narrative in which he had accused them of a record he had just said was not theirs. He kept the tape. later it was even revealed her instantly dismissed the ai song video clip in favor of those same people. although it was only 16hrs later where they would strike.
Jay Roebuck spoke on community. Prime answered the fallout.
Im not beefing with these people they are beefing with me I explicitly said I don’t fuck with blue & kitty after they made a post under my tweet. They trying to convince me I should have reached out before making a diss track yet they are Scott free from reaching out to me about a post that wasn’t a diss to them to begin with.

Hours after the statement naming Blue and Kitty as the only issue, Jay Roebuck posted that strength is in community, not division, and that there is no reason to beef with people you do not know in real life. Prime read it as a comment on the Night Owl fallout from a few hours earlier and answered it directly: he is not beefing with those people, they are beefing with him, and the demand that he reach out before writing a diss does not apply to the two people who posted under a tweet that was not a diss to begin with. He added that both have been muted since that reply.
From there he took the same account into a Drake OVO Community Space. The point of the room, as he has framed it since, was not to draft the community. It was to separate the fan from the two personalities. He is still a Drake fan. He does not fuck with the two people who turned a “Meanwhile” into a week.

Wait… what’s going on here?

The independent part was the part 2025 skipped
Two assumptions have followed Prime since the 2025 Dot record. One is that the Kendrick diss was a job for Drake. The other is that the X communities were the engine, and he was using the rooms for engagement. Both treat him as somebody attached to a side.
The timeline exit cuts the other way. He did not leave Night Owls with a faction. He named two people, muted them, and kept moving as a solo. The career argument underneath that is the same one in the October 3 piece: “Imma Let You Go” is a 2021 record, already on DéTOUR II, already past five million Spotify plays and millions more across other platforms, already covered, before Club Paradise, before Night Owls, before anybody in that circle had a vote on his relevance. A community can amplify an artist who is already there. It cannot be the origin of a catalog that predates it.
Walking out alone is the practical version of that claim. If the rooms were the career, leaving them would be the crisis. It was not.
Then the song did the talking, and the song was not only about two people
After the space where Blue and Kitty felt they had exposed him, Prime started rolling clips of the song. he did not stay inside the argument. @nyrbhimself, Woody, and @Blassicliberal — timeline reporters, not Night Owl members — picked the clips up. Once the record was moving through accounts that do not have a side in the group, the chopped Space version had to compete with the actual bars.
The first verse opens on the line that doubles as the thesis: “I tell her, I’m hard, fuck a blue.” From there the record does what the October 3 breakdown flagged. It is dense on purpose. Across the verses he threads roughly fourteen Twitter names, associates and Night Owls alike, without stopping the song to point at them. Nolan Wells lands in the third verse as a layered shout, not a spare bar. The writing keeps doing two jobs at once: settle the specific dispute, and show the pen to everybody who only knew him as a community character.
He closed the run with the stamp. Drake’s “Burning Bridges” video, run through the viral AI faceswap, captioned with the blue circles and the cats: “I WALK NIGGAS DOWN.” The post cleared 14,000 views and several hundred likes while the argument was still warm. The image does the separation the Spaces were for. Still a Drake fan. Still not in the business of the two people who, on his account, made a fool of themselves twice — once under a post that said “Meanwhile,” and once in a Space where he was announcing that the AI record was not theirs.
Scared To Tango

What the timeline actually showed
Blue and Kitty treated a captionless joke as a declaration, then treated a clarification as an accusation. The group’s own language — reach out before you assume — got aimed at him and not at the reply that started it. Prime held the uncut version, put the record out in pieces, and let accounts with no stake in Night Owls carry the clips. By the time the faceswap landed, the argument was no longer happening inside one community. It was happening on the open timeline, and he was on it by himself.
That is the refresher. Not a side. Not a job for Drake. Not a community he needed in order to be seen. An independent who said the issue was two people, wrote the issue into the song, and left the chopped tape to compete with the full one.
