In this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we want to introduce you to upcoming artist Sways and his brand new single titled “Sweet One”.
Sweet one is a soft melodic ambient song, that is filled with tenderly layered drum patterns accompanied by a driving 808. This is serenaded with a drill/grime-esque type flow gelling together an all around eclectic soundscape.
Sways provides a refreshing injection of sound into the current UK urban scene, his music boasts high-quality production and intelligent lyricism that truly sets him apart. He draws influence from his childhood spent submerged in a household of rhythm, specifically the sounds of old school Hip Hop and the ever-growing UK Grime scene.
